At the Preserve we do not believe or subscribe to conventional dogmatic principles of cemeteries. For us “Cemeteries are dead and the Preserve is the Future!” Fundamental values of the Preserve lead us to believe in the preservation of the dignity of each client and also the preservation of the South African natural environment. The Preserve in itself is a memorial to clients and the nature of South Africa where each property is maintained in a natural state of indigenous South African nature whilst the dignity of our clients is maintained in a secure spacious environment where the openness of the South African nature is a tribute to the life and essence of each client. We strive to create an environment where the family members of our clients feel free to have a picnic in remembrance of dearly departed while enjoying the truly natural indigenous surroundings. As such, the Preserve is not a place of morbid bereavement but rather a space for blissful celebration of a life properly lived with values and honour.
The Zilkaatsnek Aerodrome
The Preserve at Zilkaatsnek Wildlife Estate also provides the Purchaser access to and/or use of the Aerodrome for the landing of small aircraft attending funerals.
